    ·    Phytoremediation of metal-contaminated soils;

    ·    Chemical remediation of trace metal contaminated water, soils, and wastes;

    ·    Biogeochemistry and speciation of trace metals in water-soil-waste systems;

    ·    Chemical equilibria of trace metals and mechanisms controlling their solubilities in soils.
