    Departmental Research Areas:

    Research focus:

    Develops new fertilizer technology and management practices to improve fertilizer efficiency, plant nutrition and water quality. Evaluates nutrient cycling in agricultural and natural ecosystems to understand impacts of agriculture on south Florida ecosystem.

  • Extension

    Provide training of nutrient management practices and water quality for extension agents, researchers and others; Lead an extension program of water quality/quantity best management practices; Organize and participate workshops, demonstration and field days; Publish extension articles and newsletters; Train and provide technical assistance to county extension agents.
