RESEARCH FOCUS
Biodegradation of pesticides and toxic organics in soil and water; isolation and biochemical and genetic characterization of soil and aquatic microorganisms capable of degrading toxic organics, bioremediation of contaminated sites, and effect of toxic organics on microbial activity.
