RESEARCH FOCUS
Site-specific soil and water management for improving profitability of Florida citrus and protecting the environment. Develop improvements in citrus nutrition and irrigation using precision agriculture, especially better N and water use efficiency for incorporation in Best Management Practices. Identify the causes and effective remedies for in-field soil variability which can cause spatial yield variability and low profitability per acre.
