ENVIRONMENTAL PEDOLOGY AND LAND USE LABORATORY

Welcome to the Environmental Pedology and Land Use Laboratory at the University of Florida

Broadly, we study pedogenesis (soil formation and change with minimal human impact), anthropedogenesis (soil formation and change with increased human impact through the Holocene), and their interactions.  The unifying theme of our research is to generate and disseminate information that advances understanding of terrestrial processes on Earth’s surface, and thereby improve terrestrial ecosystem management.
