Prevention: Campus Master Plan
The Campus Master Plan for 2005-2015 was adopted by the UF Board of Trustees on March 31, 2006. Previous Master Plans documented the existence of Conservation Areas, but provided little background information nor guidance for improvements to each of the areas.
In creating the most recent Master Plan, a Conservation Area Study Committee wrote a Conservation Area Land Management Plan (890KB pdf) to
- document existing conditions on campus natural areas
- make recommendations that enhance these special places, and
- demonstrate UF’s commitment to preserving and improving campus natural area
