Distance Education Student Resources
To help students communicate with one another, there is a real-time chat room listed below and a message board.
For technical help, contact Brandon Hoover (hoover@ufl.edu).
- Message Board
Students can use this forum to discuss research, courses, and to stay in touch with each other throughout the program.
- Chat Room
This online real-time Chat Room is available for students to use as a meeting place with faculty or other students. Scheduled "help time" with Student Services to be available in the coming Fall semester.
- Previously Recorded Seminars
All SWSD seminars are recorded and posted online for reference and convenience. Please take advantage of our extensive archives!
- Archived Orientation Chat - Spring 2007 Introduction to the program, Spring 2007.
Distance students access internet-based course content, including interactive chat rooms and seminar recordings, via Adobe Connect. Please review the Adobe Connect Manual and Overview to ensure you will be able to access critical components of the program.
