    Research focus:
    Research emphasis is on environmental pedology investigating the relationship of soils to landscape, vegetation, and hydrology as well as interpretation of land use; exploring near coast subaqueous soils; modeling of ground-penetrating radar (GPR) data to analysis subsurface variability; and detecting pedological-human interactions to study the genesis of soils.
