    Research focus:

    Although Prissy does not have an official research appointment at this time, her research background includes experience in:

    • Nutrient management and rates studies of vegetables
    • Pesticide fate and transport and irrigation management in citrus
    • Alternative or emerging crop assessments (artichokes, pumpkins, napa cabbage, snapbeans) in coastal Spodosols

    Current Research Collaborations:

    1. Artichoke Nutrient Management – Phosphorus Rate Studies (Fletcher, Morgan, Obreza, Agehara, Zotarelli)
    2. Romaine Lettuce Variety Trials (Sandoya, Fletcher, Sargent)
    3. Phosphorus Recommendations for Potato (Christensen, Bortolozo, Sharma, Fletcher, Zotarelli, Morgan)
    4. Pumpkin Variety Trials Utilizing Drip Irrigation and Plasticulture (Fletcher, Meru)
    5. Developing Optimal Nitrogen Fertilizer Recommendations for Sod Producers in Florida (Unruh, Lindsey, Fletcher)
