Research focus:
My research investigates the fate of contaminants (e.g. nanomaterials, metals, microplastics, nitrogen transported from areas used for intensive agriculture/grazing) and their effects on terrestrial biota. This research includes examination of direct effects of contaminants on soil microorganisms, invertebrates (e.g. earthworms), and crop plants as well as potential indirect effects resulting from disruption of agronomically important relationships between plants and soil microorganisms.
