Research Focus:
Dr. White conducts soil science and agronomy research focused on maximizing soil fertility and health while minimizing off-site impacts to optimize yields and economic returns for Florida growers and conserve Florida’s natural resources.

Extension
Dr. White's Extension work involves collaborating and communicating with scientists, extension agents, and stakeholders to transfer knowledge into practice as it relates to sustainable agricultural practices that benefit growers and protect natural resources.

Administration
Dr. White’s administrative role involves leading the UF/IFAS Plant Nutrient Oversight Committee (PNOC) as well as working closely with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) to establish nutrient BMPs.
